BOOKMARKS ARE NOT CHANGEABLE

Question

i have used Acrobat Pro for years, This is the first time this has happened.

My BOOKMARKS ARE NOT CHANGEABLE. When I go into change a bookmark, a black box appears like it is redacted.

When I click again, it goes back to the original bookmark.

Any ideas how to change this?

Sorry for the delayed response. I hope you already have found a solution to your problem.
Have you checked if you have the right to edit the file? Is it possible for you to test the scenario on another file?

I tried testing it on my end, and It works fine. If you still are experiencing this issue, let us know the application version installed on your machine and a file would be helpful which is exhibiting the behavior at your end
