Bookmarks lost after electronic signing

Hi All,

I need urgent help.

I had a properly formatted pdf document with a lot of internal bookmarks. Once the signatures were completed via Adobe using the "Request e-signatures" feature all the bookmarks are gone. They remained blue but are simple text. What did I do wrong??

Please help!

    Hope you are doing well. 

    Regarding the document you are referring to above, have you sent it for signature or received it for signature?

    The bookmarks will be flattened if the document is sent for signature. You will only be able to access the file or sign the file, but bookmarks will not be accessible. 

    Signing locks the document, to make it secure and to restrict it from making further changes. 

    If you want the end user to be able to access the bookmarks of the pdf, then you can use the Share feature for file sharing.

    Hi Akanchha,

    I am requesting the signature. The pdf is bookmarked and filled with internal hyperlinks.

    I understand that it is supposed to lose the links in the signature process but once the process is completed, I should get back signed and bookmarked and linked pdf. And I get the same flattened pdf with signature but no internal links.

    I resolved once this issue in July, but thath was a long time ago and I don't remember how I did it.
