Question

Bookmarks Pane Catastrophe. There should be a global setting for this.

Recently got a subscription for Adobe Acrobat, as our old Adobe Acrobat X software was getting dated.

I have been completely frustrated with the Bookmarks pane opening on EVERY SINGLE PDF, and no matter  how much I search for a solution, there is no global setting to remove this. This is the worst oversight for any software that I have ever seen, not being able to manipulate a setting like this globally. I don't work with the same pdf everyday as I'm publishing from CAD and reviewing different sets of drawings, so having to manually change this every single time is a bother. Genuinely considering canceling my subscription because of this and going over to Bluebeam.

Adobe - do something about this. I'm clearly not the only person to bring this up as a concern or issue.

@Canadian_CAD Guru interesting because I don't have that issue. Nor can I replicate it. Granted, I have this side bar closed

This is expanded and open.

The side bar is closed, no more bookmarks

In my preferences, Full Screen, I don't have 'Show Nabigation Bar' selected. I have this deselected. But have a look at your preferences as I am using Acrobat Pro
