Box and arrow show around hyperlinks in Preview, despite link settings

Hello,

I've been adding hyperlinks to documents in Acrobat, and even though I have the properties set to "invisible rectangle" as well as highlight style: "none," there is still a box and arrow that pop around these hyperlinks in Preview.

I would love for this box (rectangle of dashed gray lines) and arrow not to appear. Is this possible? Thanks for your help,

Shannon

If you mean Apple Preview, it's known to be a very buggy application, and should be avoided.

Issues with it should be reported to Apple. We can't help you with that.

Thank you, that seems to have been the issue! For some reason I'd thought preview was an adobe app

I am not sure how to edit my original post; I'd like to clarify that the box and arrow only appear when the cursor is hovering over the hyperlinked text
