In acrobat XI - where is the brightness and/or contrast settings for scanning PDF's.

I just upgraded from acrobat 6 and these settings were right on the scan screen

The scanning in Acrobat is done via the default scanner driver and software installed on your computer. Acrobat itself is not involved in the process. It just takes the output the scan dialog generates and converts it into a PDF file.

Hi ,

Unfortunately this option is not available in Acrobat XI,

Please visit this link for change settings while scanning:Scan documents to PDF, Adobe Acrobat

Thank You!

Thanks Shivam for your response.  What confuses me is in the scanning help that I had read previously and that you provided a link for, it says under the heading  Scanning Tips, the following

For text printed on colored paper, try increasing the brightness and contrast by about 10%.

If this is recommended, where in Acrobat XI are these brightness and contrast settings?  Or are they referring to past versions of Acrobat (like Acrobat 6) which had these adjustments.
