Brother MFC-8480dn Automatic Document Feeder

I have used acrobat 7 for as many years. Upgraded to Pro 10 today and when attempting to use it to scan a document on the Brother MFC, it defaults to the plate reader and bypasses the Auto Doc Feeder. Any suggestions on how to get it to use the feeder? OS= Windows 7 sp1

Acrobat 7 is a very old version, not compatible with Windows 7, and certainly not with Windows 10, so problems are to be expected.

It's time for an upgrade.
