Bug in the Adobe Acrobat app on iOS 17.3.1

On my expensive piece of junk my new iPhone 15 Pro Max (the biggest mistake of the year I made this purchase) with iOS 17.3.1 the following problem occurs.

Files are lost and recovered.

I have had NO problems on the Andorid OS!
