BUG - Latest version of Acrobat doesn't work.

Latest version of Acrobat doesn't work. It won't load PDFs at all if I double click them from folders. If I run it separately it won't save PDFs from within Acrobat. It just brings up the saving dialogue and hangs indefinitely.

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response. 

 

Please let us know if you can open PDF from Acrobat. 

As the issue occurs when saving the PDF, try the troubleshooting steps suggested in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-system-errors-freezes-windows.html.

If the above suggestion does not work, try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
- Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html).
- Reboot the machine
- Install Adobe Acrobat Pro from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html.

Go to Edit - Preferences - Security (Enhanced) and disable everything that's selected there, then try it again.
