Bulk Conversion of tiff files & pdf files to PDF/A files.

Hello, I have a requirement where I need to convert TIFF ---> PDF/A and PDF ---> PDF/A files. I have created a action from the action wizard that open files from the parent folder from my laptop and save the files into PDF/A format files. But the Folder that I am selecting for the parent folder is including other files for conversion along with tiff and pdf files, for instance text file and JPEG files. Is there any way I can filter the file selection from my parent folder to only choose TIFF files and PDF files for conversion?

Since I have the same thing for setting a password: as far as I see it, you can only filter by manually selecting the files in a dialog. Means, in the action there should be a button "Add files". Once you click and select files which, in the dialog, can be sorted easily by type, it will start to convert only those.

yes @Doc Maik , there is a button "Add files" in the action. but I have a parent folder, containing subfolders with tiff, text, jpg, etc, files inside them. By selecting the parent folder in "Add Folder" action button, its including all the files from the sub-folders. I need to find a way to filter out the file type to be accepted by this action, as I have a large amount of files in this structure that need to be converted.

As you see, actions cannot do what you need. It would require scripting or, probably the better option, find a (commercial) plugin that exactly does what you need.
