Hello - we are looking to convert every PDF in a large set of folders/subfolders, which are mixed among many other file types, to searchable text prior to a migration of all data to Sharepoint.

Can Adobe do this in this capacity?

Tried this but it crashed and prompted to save event when prompt user was unchecked.  https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/making  (Web view)

Yes, you can use Acrobat Pro to sort and separate scanned PDF files without text from others (using the Preflight's Profiles and an Action).

Then you can use OCR in batch (using an Action).

Not really. You can use an Action, but it will also process all non-PDF files. Also, it's not very equipped to handle large quantities of files. I suggest looking for a more robust OCR tool with batch processing capabilities than Acrobat, such as ABBYY Fine Reader.
