bulk delete files and folders

I just uploaded a bunch of docx to convert them to pdf. I was not able to bulk download them - well. But now I am also not able to bulk delete them. Whenever I select all files, any more button is gone. How do I do this?  thanks

I found it: I had to uncheck the Adobe Scans folder because I can't delete it. But then I also had to scroll all the way down to make the trash can appear on top of the page. 

 

Could this procedure be simplified so menus are always shown? thanks
