Question

Buttons added in Adobe Acrobat does not work on mobile?

I have a designed PDF and I have added Buttons using Rich Media. I have a Brainteaser question in the PDF. To see the answer, the reader have to click on a button and then the answer will pop up in the form of an image. Unfortunately I just realised this does not work on mobile. Can anyone suggest an alternative?

Mobile viewers are generally rather poor. In fact most are useless, but even the good ones such as Adobe Reader and PDF Expert have very limited functionality. Rich media is not even close to something anyone would ever think about implementing for mobile. Besides being too complex and CPU hungry for a mobile PDF viewer, Rich Media is another name for Flash. Which you should avoid like the plague.

Use a regular button that shows and hides another button field with the image.

Thank you for your reply Thom! I was asked by a client to create an Interactive PDF, which I am finding has its complications. I was using the Rich Media tool. Will you be able to advise where I can find the 'regular button'?
