You have to convert your document to a form. Click on the 'form' button situated to the right hand side of your screen down below once done, the calculations input field placers should appear.

Remember to change the format with the 'properties' to 'Number' and also include the number of decimal places you need and if or not you require a currency sign to apear prior to number declaration.

Good Luck!

With the permission of everyone,

if I may add that if you have downloaded Adobe Acrobat DC,

then this link could be helpful for information on how to create calculations.

How to Create PDF Forms with Calculations in Adobe Acrobat

Calculated fields are part of Advanced forms, and as such, are included only with the multi-license levels of service.

If this is not the case and yet, as Mr. Harsh Vardhan Pareek has informed you,

you may have accidentally downloaded "Adobe sign".

Thanks,

Nikolaos.

Some rather unhelpful advice from Nikolas. I know it was 6 months ago, but still, if anyone reads this...

- "Calculated fields are part of Advanced forms"

There's no such thing as "Advanced forms". Calculations in JavaScript or FormCalc are part of all regular PDF forms (but not necessarily Adobe sign).

-" the multi-license levels of service."

There is no such thing as "multi-license levels of service".

-"you may have accidentally downloaded "Adobe sign"."

Adobe Sign may have been used but nobody can download it. It is a service, not an app. You can accidentally create a form for Adobe Sign using Acrobat.

Hi @Thyra5E65

Hope you are doing well.

As the calculation field is not visible, it could be possible that you are working on "Adobe sign" form instead of a normal fill-in form. To revert it to normal form select "More" from the right-hand pane and select "Revert to Acrobat form".

If this does not work, please share some screenshots to understand the issue better.

Thanks,

Harsh
