Can a merged pdf document be unmerged for better quality?

I don't have the original, but a merged pdf document. since it is merged the quality is not good. Can it be unmerged to get better document quality?

No. But why do you think that the fact it was merged decreased its quality?

That doesn't mean the original files were any better. Anyway, separating the files now won't help with that.
