Can Acrobat have Customized PDF Drivers to apply specific settings

I've been using PDFCreator to automate creating PDFs.  PDFCreator will allow me to create multiple Print drivers that perform different automated functions when creating PDFs.

Does Acrobat have the same ability?

Example 1:

- This print driver is customized to create the PDF, but does not display the PDF and automatically saves the PDF into a specific directory.

Example 2:

- Automates adding a security code to open the PDF and automatically saves the documents to a predefined directory.  All I have to do is enter the password to apply to the PDF.

Correct answer Cari Jansen

Example 1:

Acrobat install on Windows instalsl the Adobe PDF printer. Under Devices & Printers. Locate the printer and right-click it to access Adobe PDF Properties, then click Preferences to access the customisable settings for this PDF generator:

Example 2:

I've used Actions in Acrobat to automatically add password security to a collection of PDFs.  For more information see: Adobe Acrobat Pro Action Wizard

I'll try your instructions...

Is there a way to add a second Adobe PDF driver with different settings?

I never actually tried installing multiple instances of the Adobe PDF driver, but I found this forum post that seems to explain how to do this on Windows. So it looks like it can indeed be done:
