Hi,

1.Acrodist is the Acrobat Distiller application that is mainly used to convert postscript files to PDF, I am not sure how used this is, but I wouldn't want to uninstall it, as i may have uses for any of the file types that ACrobat can convert to PDF.

2. This lists a lot of the adobe reg keys, maybe you can find what you want there? - https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/preferences.html

3. Probably.

1. It will not work when you use the preinter "Adobe PDF"

3. The printer "Adobe PDF" uses the distiller
