Can Adobe Acrobat Pro 64bit still work with Office 365 32 bit

Hello everyone,

Just a quick question.  I work in an enterprise enviroment that we currently have 1200 machines with office 365 32bit installed with both 32 bit reader and those with 32 bit adobe pro.  The question that I have is, as we plan on moving slowly to 64 bit office 365, can Adobe Reader and Pro 64 bit work with a workstation that has Office 365 32bit?

Just was wondering for the leg work that I am going to have to do. lol

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in, and sorry for the delayed response.

Yes, Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat Pro 64-bit can work on a workstation with Office 365 (32-bit) installed. However, there are some considerations to keep in mind:

Compatibility

  • Interoperability: Acrobat and Office can coexist with different bitness (32-bit vs. 64-bit). However, certain integrations, like the PDFMaker add-in, may require both applications to have the same bit.
  • PDFMaker Add-in: If you create PDFs using PDFMaker in Word, Excel, or Outlook, you might encounter issues if the bitness of Office and Adobe applications doesn't match.

Hope this info helps.
