Question

Can an Entire Spreadsheet be Imported into a Fillable PDF?

Hello!

I am creating a Fillable PDF Form which contains a grid that has 5 Columns and 35 rows. Essentially the grid is created to mimic the Cells you'd see in an Excel Spreadsheet. The goal is to be able to import all the data from a spreadsheet into this Fillable PDF. I know how to import data to the extent that I can get one row to populate across all 5 columns but what about the other 34 rows? Is it even possible to import the whole spreadsheet?

I am attaching an image of the Form so you can see it, hopefully that will help. Please note that I did not prepare all the "Cells" for this attachment.

Any help you can offer is GREATLY appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!!

Tommy

It can be done, but it would require using a custom-made script to read the input file and then populate the fields (assuming they are named in a consistent manner) with all the values from it.

I've developed similar tools in the past so if you're interested in hiring someone to do it for you, feel free to contact me privately at try6767 at gmail.com and we'll discuss it further.

You posted this question in the non-technical Lounge forum. I'll move it over to the correct Acrobat forum so that someone can help you.
