Question

Can anyone help me understand why I lose the functionality after distributing a form?

I build a form in InDesign and exported it as an "Interactive PDF.  Once I completed saving the PDF, I opened it in Acrobat DC and  added a "file browse" button with acroform.  I saved the pdf and it works perfectly.  When I distribute it, the recipient loses some of the functionality and the "file browse" button doesn't work at all.

Any Advice?

Hi.

Be sure that the end user uses Acrobat (Reader or Pro) and not a low-end PDF reader that don't support forms and/or JavaScript, as Apple-Preview.

What do you mean by a "file browse" button? What exact command did you use?

You didn't answer my question. What command is associated with this button, exactly?
