Can fields be made to expand to fit text?

I have created a doc in Indesign CC and exported as interactive form to Adobe Acrobat X 10.10.16.
I have selected some of the fields to be multi line fields, and added a scroll, but when the form prints the information at the bottom of the scroll is hidden.

Is is possible to create expand to fit text? I have been researching and seen that Adobe LiveCycle can do this, but I only have a mac - not sure it will work on macs?
Is there anyway to do it with the programmes/computer I have?

Many thanks!

It's not possible with an Acrobat form, but it is possible with an LCD form, as you've found out.

And yes, it will work on a Mac, but you can't create it there as LCD itself is a Windows-only application.

PS. A better solution is to set the font size to Auto, or use a script to copy the text to a blank page at the end of the file when printing it.
