Can form fields remain fillable after saving redactions?

I would like to redact some text within a fillable form and be able to keep the form fields fillable after saving the redactions. Is this possible, and if so, how?

If you redact the contents of a field, that field will be removed. But redaction is not needed to clear a field's value. You can do that with a script or manually.

Here's a better description of what I want to do: within a fillable form, I would like to redact text that is not contents of any fields, rather, the text is outside of the fields and is the description of what is to be filled in within the fields. When the redactions are applied, I would like the fields to remain fillable. Is this possible, and if so, how?

Check this option when applying the redaction:

However, you will need to know and check if none of the hidden information needs to get removed.
