Can I create a fillable dropdown option within a list of preset options?

Hi, 

I have a dropdown list with the names of all of our schools, we continue to add schools constantly so I would rather add an "other" option where they can fill in the blank in the same spot when they do not see their school. I cannot add anymore fields, what would be the best way to do this?
