Can I install Acrobat Standard without Creative Cloud?

That's the question.  I have a subscription for Acrobat Standard edition.  I don't want nor need all of the other apps that come with CC and do not want to clutter my PC with them.  I want to be able to basic actions on PDFs: rotate pages, fill forms, etc., so I have the Standard version.  Don't need the other apps.

Correct answer Amal.

Please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/download-install-acrobat-subscription.html and see if that works.

Make sure you're signed out of your Adobe account, download and install Acrobat Reader (yes, Reader), then sign into your Adobe account, and follow the prompt to update Reader to Acrobat Pro. You get the full Acrobat Pro installation. That's how I avoid installing the Creative Clould app and all the background processes and bloatware that go with it. Best to start with a clean installation. If you're device has already been colonized by Adobe, it can be difficult, nay impossible to get rid of all the myriad folders and files, even using their uninstallers.

I can confirm that this works on macOS.

Of course. By installing the CC app you're not installing all the other Adobe apps. It's just an "organizer". Through it you can install just Acrobat Standard.

Thank you for your reply, but your answer is not clear.  I want to install Acrobat and not CC.  When I download "Acrobat", there is a message that states "Click the installer then follow the prompts. (FYI: The Creative Cloud desktop app comes with your download.)" I don't want the CC desktop app.
