Question

Can I Run the Acrobat Uninstaller Remotely?

Is there away to run the Acrobat Uninstaller remotely to remove the application from another Mac?

I used Migration Assistant to transfer my data to a new MacBook Pro running Catalina. The version of Acrobat that migrated doesn't run on Catalina and I can't install a compatible version until I get rid of the old one.

Is there a way to run the Acrobat uninstaller on the old machine to remove Acrobat from the new one? If so, how?

Thank you.

Short answer: No.

Catalina doesn't support 32-bit apps.  Old uninstallers are 32-bit.  You will need to manually remove Acrobat files from your Catalina device.  To help with that, use the Adobe CC Cleaner tool below.

For future reference, never allow an OS upgrade to commence until you're certain about compatibility with your other apps.

Thank you. I know about the cleaner but it is only for Widows.

And I understand that 32-bit apps won't run in Catalina.  What I'm asking if I can run the 32-bit uninstaller on my old, non-Catalina Mac remotely and remove Adobe on the new Catalina Mac.

Is there a way to do this?

Please stop asking about uninstalling remotely.  It won't work. No way, no how.

Obviously you don't know about the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool or you wouldn't say it only works on Windows.  It is made by Adobe, not Microsoft.  It removes old Adobe files from 64-bit systems like Catalina. Try it.
