Can I sign a batch of 100 ducuments automaticly?

What I am looking for is a way to sing batches of PDF files with a signature and a date.
I hava a .jpg file with the signature and I would like to place it in a .PDF at a certain position in the document. Once placed, all other (99) documents in the batch will get the same signature at the same place automaticly. Signed documents must be (and stay) separate files. If there is a way to batch signing that involves merging all 100 docs into one file to add the signature and separate it later again, this will do.

Is this possible? How?
I did not find anything useful so far on the subject.

If you have Acrobat Pro you can use the Action Wizard to insert an image at the same location in multiple files, yes.

However, what you described (applying the image manually to the first file and then using that location for the rest) is more complicated and will require the development of a custom-made script.

The files can remain independent of each other, of course.

I use Acrobat Pro DC and I can indeed insert an image, but the Action Wizard will not allow me to select multiple files, so only one file is opened and thus I can only sign one file at a time.
If you could tell me where or how I can do the placement of the image at the same location in multiple files that would be very helpfull.

Btw: opening 100 files at once is not possible in Acrobat because of limitations.
