Can no longer create digital signatures with 2024 upgrade

I'm also have simular issue. I'm creating forms that should require a digital signature block (click on space, apply digital credetials, shows name/date). I used to also place a date-picker block somewhere else. Now in Dec 2024, I cant get these Prepare Form options to work.

During Prepare Form, after I place a "E-signature field" and save the form, opening it back up resutls in an open blank space where the 'signer' can simply type words in. Same with the "Date Field". Clicking on Fill and Sign lets the user type in a signature, but its not asking for digital credetials. 

Youtube videos haven't helped, as they show my older stlye of doing things, and my workflow is totaly disrupted.

Do you mean that you are not able to find Digital Signature field inside the "Prepare Forms" tool? I see that the digital signature field is incorrectly labeled as "E-signature field" in the modern interface. Only the text is incorrect but if you placethe field then it will place signature field only. Can you please give it a try? Label will be corrected in the next release.

I am having the same issue with this update! I used to be able to create a custom tool for a digital signature box under "prepare forms" but that feature seems to be gone. 

The option for a signature bix still exisits when you go directly to prepare forms, but adding a short cut is no longer an option.
