Can no longer sign initials on PDF form

Despite having been doing it for years, I am now longer able to add initials to a form in the Fill & Sign tool. I haven't done it in a bit and since I had I've updated to Mac Sonoma and a new MacMini so, I dunno, did something get lost in the shuffle? I am constantly updating CC apps as they come along so I hope this isn't a feature/bug in the latest iteration of Acrobat. Help?

Are you having this issue with every PDF that you open with Adobe Acrobat or just one particular document?

What happens when you repair the installation? Does the problem continues?

No, it's happening everywhere. I'm just not getting the option like I used to. It's signatures only. I'm figuring it has something to do with a recent update

I don't know what you mean by "repairing the installation"

I'll attach a screengrab of the tool bar show what I see, with no initial option

In macOS it would be uninstall Acrobat and reinstall instead of repairing the installation

I am a Microsoft Windows user; missed that distinction from your original post.

I can think of installing Rosetta (assuming that both of your two mac computers have M series chips), and see if that improves the current issue.
