Question

Can not print PDF Files

I click on a pdf file then click on print. I then get a message that basically states Can not find printer check to see if printer is on or connected to the printer network. I am using a USB cable to connect to the printer. I have re loaded Adobe twice after Brother said it was an adobe reader error.

I have done all of these steps and switched printers completely.

The error message specifically says....

"We can not reach this printer.  Make sure the printer is on and you are connected to the printers network or try a different printer.

I have connected to two different printers and get this same message.

Twice I received a message that stated there was nothing sent to the printer.

Hi Bobh57153824,

Please refer to the steps in the help document in the link below and see if it helps:

Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader

And please confirm the application and operating system versions you are using.

Also, for testing, try changing the default printer in the control panel if you are using a Windows machine. You would have some virtual printers installed on the machine from which you can choose any one as a default printer and then try printing and see how it goes.

Once tested, please switch back to your current printer.

Thanks,

Supriya
