Sometimes reinstalling with admin rights or clearing temp files helps. Also, for quick viewing of PDFs on PC while troubleshooting, I’ve been using alostoratv.app pc works smoothly and saves time.

Try running Acrobat as administrator, check Task Manager for any stuck processes, or use Repair from Apps & Features. If that doesn’t work, uninstall and reinstall the latest version. Updating Windows and drivers can also help.

    Hello @bob.zhangsync

I hope you are doing well, and thank you for reaching out. We’re sorry for the trouble you had.

Could you please share more details? Are you trying to install both Acrobat and the freeware Acrobat Reader app on one machine?

Please note that Adobe Acrobat is the premium version of the free Acrobat Reader, and Adobe does not recommend having both applications installed on the same machine. This could be the reason why you are experiencing conflicts when trying to launch the app.

Please make sure you have one app installed. If you have a license or subscription to Acrobat, install it and sign in using the Adobe ID (email) associated with your purchase. You can use the Acrobat Cleaner tool to remove the other app.

Once you have the Acrobat app installed, restart the machine once, then right-click on the Acrobat icon to run it as an administrator.

Let us know if you have a different question or need assistance.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.

    Hi AnandSri:

Reader is preinstalled by company and Pro is manual installed after I applied the license. I will uninstall reader and try. Thanks for you information.
