Can't adjust tab order on linked form fields

Hi, I've got a few text form fields that I have linked to fields on a previous page so that clients don't have to type and retype the same information.  Unfortunately, the fields on the first page are in a different tab order than the fields on the later page.  When I try to change the tab order manually on the later page, it either won't let me (either as a group or individually), or it changes it back to the original order.  I thought perhaps this was because I copied and pasted them all together as a group, but the same thing occured when I tried to copy & paste them individually to the later page.
