Question

Can't clear my own signature

I have a document that I update every month and digitally sign with a certificate. Usually I start by deleting my signature from last month, edit the document with the updated information, and sign for the new month. This month, I am unable to clear my previous signature. When I right click the certificate signature box, it does not give me the "clear signtature" option and on the "verify signatures" tab on the left, the "clear signatures" option is greyed out.

It likely may be that Acrobat has been updated. Go ahead and do an update. And see if you can update your signature. If not, I would then log-out and log back into Adobe.com; I have two different Adobe accounts, one for work and one for personal, so I sometimes get the wrong account log-in too!

Hi @jared_8764,

I'm following up to check if your issue is resolved. It either happens if you change your ID or work on a different machine, as suggested by @creative explorer @PDF Automation Station.

Are you using the same computer, computer login, and Adobe account?
