Can't copy/Paste comments

I have tried several things, but for some reason Adobe Acrobat is not allowing me to copy or paste my commented lines or dots. I work with blueprints and have to markup the prints for my job with hundreds of little circles and it would save so much time if I could copy and paste them instead of having to make a new one every time. There is not an option to copy the comment once you click on it, and ctr + C and ctr + V are not wokring either. Very frustraing.

Consider the new Acrobat as a beta version, many features are missing or half-implemented.

So don't use it.

With the new interface, I'm finding you can copy a markup (ctrl+C), but you can't paste unless the original is still selected. It's like deselecting the original clears the clipboard. Could that be related?

For me, it was helpful to return to the classic interface. Somehow the “new experience” no longer supports copying comments.

The function is hidden and is one of the well-kept secrets of Acrobat's interface: select the comment(s) with the Black (or White regarding the UI color used) Arrow tool and you can copy, cut and paste via the Edit menu or keyboard shortcuts.
