Can't Delete a PDF File

I often print PDF files from webpages. I can rename and delete them. Recently, I created a PDF file that I can't rename or delete. I'm seeking a solution to that problem so that I can delete that PDF file.

You need to provide a more exact description of the situation if you want any help.

Start with what OS you're using, how you're trying to delete or rename the file, and what's the result of doing so.

My PC has Windows 10. I always delete files with the mouse: right click over the file, then select Delete. That has worked for hundreds, perhaps thousands, of files over the years. When I do that with this PDF file, nothing happens. Nothing. No message. Same if I try to rename that file. I also tried Shift-delete, and that didn't work eather.

How is that related to Acrobat? What you've described sounds like an issue in the OS. Maybe the files are locked, or set as read-only, or something like that.
