Can't find the serial number/physical box for Adobe Acrobat XI

Hello,

My name is Erwin and I work for the IT department in a hospital in the
Netherlands. We received a call that a computer with Adobe Acrobat XI installed
needed to be replaced by a new one.

The problem is as follows. The department who made the call can’t find the
physical box and cd with the serial number. I did managed to find the setup on
the old computer, so I only need the serial number to reinstall the program.

What is the right way for them to get a new serial or do they just have to
buy a new one?

If so, is it possible to get a new serial for XI now DC is here?

if your program is currently installed on a computer, you can recover the serial number:

windows: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

mac:  https://mac-product-key-finder.com/

otherwise, Find your serial number

if you can't find your serial number or recover it, your installation file is useless.  in fact, adobe makes the installation files to many of its programs available for free.  but without the serial number you can only use the programs a limited time:

Thank you very much! Your answer helped me out.

The old computer has a BSOD with a BAD_POOL_HEADER error and could not be started the normal way, but I was able to start the computer in safe mode and run the belarc application from an external hard disk.
