Can't Get Booklet to Print to Scale

I'm trying to print the PDF version of a booklet that I created in InDesign. I have set-up the presets so that it will fold the booklet and staple it, but the content comes out wrong and the presets don't work (for example there's no staples). The content is shrunk and doesn't fill the pages- the content for the back page of the booklet is right next to the front page and comes across where the fold should be (same for the inside). It's like the system doesn't recognize that they're separate pages of the booket. I'm printing on 11x8.5, but since it's a booklet each page should be 5.5x8.5. How do I get it to print properly?

I'm unclear if the issue is with the InDesign layout, the InDesign File > Print Booklet command or simply with printing from Acrobat. Since you are asking in an Acrobat forum, let's start with checking your print settings. What is Page Size and Handling set to? Actual Size?

I actually just miraculously got it to work. I hadn't been selecting Actual Size and print to PDF before. However, now it's folding it on the inside out. Do you know how to correct that?

Hi Ashley:

What do you mean by "it's folding it on the inside out"?
