Can't install Acrobat

I have downloaded the Acrobat DC Installer. I get a pop-up window that says to double-click icon to install. I do this but nothing happens.

This issue has happened to me as well. I've tried using the cleaner tool and re-installing and run into the same issue of double-clicking to install, but installation is initiated. Any other thoughts on how to troubleshoot?

Please share the screenshot of the issue for a better understanding. Also, please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in mac (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204012) and try installing the application there and check.
