Can't install Acrobat 9 Pro to my MacBook Pro

I have a new MacBook Pro with Yosemite OS, and tried to install the CS6 and Acrobat that I bought last year.

With the serial number for CS6, I successfully installed Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, all working well.

But I have no luck installing Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, though.  I have downloaded it from the Adobe website. The result is - it acts like it is going to open but only "Acrobat" icon shows up on desktop. If I click on it, nothing happens.  Weird thing is, it did not even ask me for the serial number.  So I only have the ‘Acrobat’ icon sitting on my desktop, which brought me to nowhere.

Customer support recommended me to try forum as this version is no longer supported by them. Can anyone help?  Please.
