Have issues installing Acrobat DC on my Lenovo laptop with Windows 10. Always stop at 27% installing with error code 121.  Anybody knows how to fix this? Thanks

Error code 121: Error writing to the temporary file location

Error code 121 indicates that the installer has issues with the temp folder settings or access to them on your device.

Solution

Fix permissions for the temporary location.

In simple terms, you have a permissions problem.  To install software, you need administrative level permissions.  Also your anti-virus/firewall cannot get in the way. See link below.

If this is a Teams/Enterprise account, contact your IT dept admin.

If this is an individual account and your computer user profile has admin level rights, try right-click and select run as admin.

Thank you Nancy for your reply. However, I do have an administrative account, and disabled antivirus and firewall. But it is still the same problem. I don't know where is wrong.

I am just trying to install it from Creative Cloud, where cannot right click to run as admin. Didn't see any place to download an .exe file and then run to install.
