Can't install Acrobat DC Mac Mojave

New mac, latest iOS, downloaded fresh installation of creative cloud installer but Acrobat DC won't install. I removed CC, I downloaded Acrobat separately, but it hangs and keeps hanging. Either code c136 or code 7. Seems something with registry. I even checked if there was some kind of old version of Acrobat that may exist, but that was not the case. 

With the official Adobe support chat not helpful at all (how frustrating), I am hoping one of you can help what I should do. I need to urgently use it, have been trying to solve it for hours during the last 10 days, but nothing works...

    If you told support you were trying to install to iOS, perhaps that is what confused them. iOS is only on iPhone and iPad. If you'd said macOS, maybe they would have understood. Just a thought.

     

    Either way, iOS or macOS, there is no registry. That is a Windows thing.

    Yes, in that case the equivalent of the registry in a macOS environment would be the plists (I think... correct me if I am wrong)

    Can you please share a log of the error?

     

    And can you describe the steps you were following during the installation?
