Can't modify or sign a PDF

I can't modify or sign my PDF although my subscription is up to date, I did these tasks before, I am signed in and the default application for PDF is Adobe Acrobat DC.

If anyone has ever had this experience, please help out.

What happens when you attempt to do so? Did you already sign the file before, by any chance?
