Can't open PDF files after Windows 10 upgrade
After upgrading from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro (v. 1909) I am no longer able to open pdfs in Adobe Acrobat X, XI, or Reader. I am able to open using Edge or any other web browser but when I switch it to open in Adobe Acrobat or even Reader, it spins and then nothing. The process shows up in task manager but then closes within 10 seconds. This is what I am getting in event viewer log:

I have tried without luck:
- repairing adobe
- uninstall/reinstall
- running in compatibility mode
- downloading and running latest updates
- Anti-virus scan
- Ran adobe as administrator
- Rolling back to Windows 7, uninstalling Adobe, upgrading to Windows 10, reinstalling Adobe
When I rolled back to Windows 7, it worked fine. Any thoughts?
