Can't open pdf on one site only

Using Chrome and Acrobat DC, I can open pdfs for a variety of different journals except one, where a blank Chrome window opens, but nothing else????

Any advice?

PDF file from a foreign, I save it in my file on my PC, and it doesn't open and there's a sticker saying it's corrupt!!! A friend sent it to him and it opens normally for him, so the Adobe Acrobat that I have a subscription to is hurting me, it's better to use Adobe Reader free. I'm not going to change the configuration of my PC, because other PDFs from abroad open, so Adobe Acrobat pays, causing me losses.

Hi @paulo_8095,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

Do you still experience the issue, would you mind sharing the file with us to test in-house?

Also, you can try a few steps:

1. Try viewing the file on the web portal: https://adobe.ly/4hVCTSE

2. Ensure that the app is updated to the latest version (2024.005.20xxx).

Hi Alan

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to open the PDF on web browser as a blank chrome window appears

Web browsers use their own PDF mechanism to render and display the PDF content and they are not Adobe dependent, please try to download the PDF file to your computer locally and then try to open it with Acrobat Pro/Reader DC and check

Thanks for the reply.  But I can't download the file at all.  Just a blank Chrome screeen appears

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that. Please try using a different web browser to download the file and see if that works for you .
