Can't print from Adobe Acrobat DC 2015

I'm using windows 7 and Adobe Acrobat DC, and as of yesterday I am no longer able to use the PDF printer. I open a PDF (I've used multiple different PDFs to see if it was a specific one that was the issue, and this problem existed on every PDF I tried) and click print and then select Adobe PDF and try to print. A status bar pops up, fills up about 30% of the way and then stops. I've tried manually uninstalling the printer and reinstalling it, that has not worked. I have run an Adobe Cleaner tool that uninstalled the entire program from my computer, I then re-installed the entire program and it still does not work. I have updated the program to make sure it is up-to-date, and it still does not work. I have restarted the computer after each step listed above and it does not help. I can print to file, and use the adobe distiller to then print to PDF but when I'm using this printer 300 times a day, I shouldn't have to make this a two or three step process. I should be able to open a PDF, click print and create a new PDF in a location of my choosing.

You can print to a specific directory and make Distiller listen to that directory, but that is a workaround, not a solution.

My experience is when Adobe PDF stops working, it needs some input, like a file name. Sometimes that dialogue box gets hidden under a different window. That's a Windows problem as it should not happen.
