Can't print Photoshop-generated PDFs in Acrobat DC /Mac

I just got off a 1-hour-long chat with support that was incredibly frustrating. Disconnected once. They kept wanting to do a remote session or to have me call them. I only let Apple have remote access, and I'm hard-of-hearing and can't understand foreign accents. So here we are. But, I've been using Adobe products since about 2005, Mac user since 1983, I'm a web designer and graphic designer, and I'm pretty tech savvy.

I have a Photoshop-generated PDF that I opened in Acrobat DC. I triple-checked the printer settings: Feed - Main Tray; Paper - Plain Paper; Quality - Normal. When I try to print this PDF from Acrobat, the printer settings are not communicating with the printer. It keeps saying, "The following paper is not loaded in the rear tray: Legal [or card]." Except, the printer setting says Main Tray.

I have been able to print several other kinds of PDFs, including one from InDesign. Oh, wait, not Illustrator either. From within Acrobat DC. I've printed .txt and .xlsx without a problem. From Chrome, too. The printer is working just fine.

I'm totally at a loss! Can anyone please? help?
