Can't reorder pages

Hello

I have looked online and in the forums and maybe I using the wrong words (though I found things from back in 2016). I am having problems clicking and dragging pages with the page thumbnails view. I brought over another laptop which I am able and compared preferences and didn't see any notable differences. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and ran updates and yet still no avail. I am able to accomplish this on one computer but not another. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you for your help

Hi - this might be something you already know but I can't move pages if I am 'on' them. So I click on the next page and then I can move the one I want.

Hello

I tried being on a different page to move it. Below is a screen shot. I have tried different sizes and arrow vs hand etc etc.

When I try to move the page it just highlights it and stays still. On my other computer I can highlight it and drag it to the area between pages where I would like to reorder the pages but for some reason doesn't work any more on this computer. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled, compared settings, different pdf files.

The full page must be visible.

Make sure you zoom out so the full page is visible before trying to drag it. If that's not working either then the file is probably locked, signed or something like that, which prevents it from being edited in this way.

I am able to do the same file on my other computer. I scan with my snapscan and make the pdf. So basically works on my older computer and not on my newer one even though they are the same acrobat.

Can you post a screenshot of the full window where you open the file?

Also, what exactly happens when you attempt to move the pages? You never quite explained it.

What exact program are you using to try and do this? This is the forum for the free Acrobat Reader which cannot re-order pages. That would require the full paid-for version of Acrobat.
