Can't save files in pdf

I´ve been working with the same document in Acrobat Reader for a while, using the tools with comments etc. When pressing "save as" I see a dialogue box saying "save as", but it's all empty so I can't continue.  My operating system is macOS Catalina and the adobe is Acrobat Pro DC
