Question

Can't select type on second page of PDF

I'm trying to select all type in a PDF but Acrobat is not auto scrolling down the document to select all type? It simply stops at bottom of page and doesn't scroll to select all text. If you select text from bottom of document it scrolls up to top of PDF allowing you to copy all text.

Hi gndesign44,

Thank you for reaching out.

We tried to replicate the behavior, and it works fine. Please share the screen recording of what happens when you try to select the text from the top. Also, share the Acrobat and OS version numbers on your machine.

In the meantime, try repairing the application. In Acrobat, go to Menu > Help > Repair Installation.

Feel free to let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,
I dont have a video can you post yours so I can see if your replicating what I am describing?
I'm on the latest Mac OS update and Latest Acrobat Version in Creative Cloud. Also there is no repair installation option in Acrobat.

Hi gndesign44,

Sorry about the delay in response.

Please check the video shared in the private message. You can click on the envelope icon at the top right corner of the community page to check the private messages.

Once you start selecting text, move the cursor to the bottom (out of the window) to select all text in the PDF. You can also use the "Command+ A" key shortcut for that.

Let us know if you were referring to something else.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
