Can't sign into Acrobat; Upon load, displays empty error message box and then crashes

I have the complete Creative Cloud on a Windows 11 desktop. A few days ago, my Acrobat stopped working.

Upon loading, the program displays the first sceen, and then an empty error message box displays and closes, and shortly thereafter the first screen closes too.

Loading a PDF displays the document for a few seconds, the empty error message box displays, and then the document window closes.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled Acrobat via Creative Cloud app. I'm still stuck.

Any suggestions? TIA.

Hi @default4vmrbcakasja

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.08.2042X  installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/48EVopK

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win and try using the application there and check.

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/3tymY9v, reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/3tRnXkW;

The error has corrected itself without any action by me. Also, the page on the Cleaner Tool specifies that it is not to be used for Creative Cloud installations. Is this incorrect? I only ask in case the error recurs.

Thanks!
