Can't stop OCR or Enhance PDF. Acrobat Pro

Question

Once I start enhance PDF or OCR on a large file, I cannot cancel it by pressing cancel or X anywhere. It runs to completion. It is also very slow. Doing a book might take an hour. The only way I can bail out is by kiling the application.

The option to stop the process in middle is not yet available, you may share your feedback directly with the engineering team using the link https://adobe.ly/4aOu9dj

Also, while enhancing the scanned PDF file, you can select the pages that you want to apply text recognition to and see if that works. For more information about know how, please check the page: https://adobe.ly/49DaJHo
