Can't update Acrobat DC

Question

Good morning, my colleagues and I can't update Adobe Acrobat DC. The error is a generic 1603. I have tried to follow instructions but the issue still persists. The only solution is uninstall and reinstall the sw. How can we solve it?

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the error you are getting for a better understanding? Please try to download the update patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html and see if that works for you.

If it still doesn't work, please check out the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-1603-install-cs3-cs4.html and see if that works for you.
Note: The steps are same for new version.
